As an Apprentice Foundry Equipment Mechanic, you will embark on a hands-on journey to develop your skills in the maintenance and repair of foundry equipment. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, where you will work closely with experienced mechanics to ensure optimal performance of machinery critical to our operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues in foundry equipment Participate in routine maintenance and repair tasks under the guidance of senior mechanics Learn to interpret technical manuals and schematics to execute repairs effectively Support the assembly and disassembly of equipment components Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company safety standards

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of mechanical principles Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in equipment maintenance

Preferred:

Previous experience in a mechanical or industrial environment (internships or part-time work) Familiarity with tools and equipment used in mechanical maintenance

Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation
