Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
conveyor systems, conveyor belts, and material handling equipment
using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Create detailed
2D drawings and 3D models
of components, assemblies, and layouts.
Customize conveyor solutions based on
load capacity, speed, space, and process requirements
.
Prepare
BOMs (Bill of Materials), GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions
.
Collaborate with project engineers, production, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Modify and optimize designs for
improved performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
.
Ensure compliance with
safety standards, mechanical design practices, and industry guidelines
.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting during project execution.
Participate in
design reviews
and contribute innovative ideas for conveyor technology advancements.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related field.
Minimum 0-1 year experience in
mechanical design for conveyors/material handling equipment
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD and SolidWorks
(essential).
Strong understanding of
belt conveyors, modular belts, chains, and automation systems
.
Knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, machining, and assembly processes.
Good grasp of
GD&T, mechanical standards, and industrial safety norms
.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
