Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar). Work closely with engineers to conceptualize and design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems. Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements. Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality and efficiency. Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials), design documentation, and technical specifications. Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure design accuracy during manufacturing. Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards. Participate in prototype development, testing, and design validation. Maintain version control and proper documentation for all design files. Provide design support throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills:

5-6 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer or Draftsman. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical standards is preferred.
