We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with strong expertise in
AutoCAD and SolidWorks (2D & 3D)
and working knowledge of
CAM software
. The candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies, preparing manufacturing drawings, and supporting production through CAM integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD (2D)
and
SolidWorks (3D modeling & assemblies)
.
Good knowledge of
CAM software
(for CNC, laser, or plasma cutting).
Understanding of
manufacturing processes
(machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Added Advantage:
Experience with nesting software and CNC programming.
Knowledge of material selection and cost optimization.
Basic understanding of ERP or design data management systems.
