Position: Mechanical Design - Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

xc2xb7 Coaching & supporting a team of engineers for electro-mechanical design & development
xc2xb7 Coordinate and define the different activities within your team, according to the priorities and competences of each one in your team
xc2xb7 Good written & verbal communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional team environment
xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, to support frequent customer meetings and pursuit related activities
xc2xb7 Analysis, application of appropriate tolerances using geometric dimensioning & tolerance principles
xc2xb7 Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills to support engineering team members
xc2xb7 Vendor coordination & management
xc2xb7 Client management through weekly project review calls.
Experience Required:
xc2xb7 Experience on all stages of product development life cycle and medical domain experience preferred
xc2xb7 Problem-solving, generating new design ideas and good understanding of engineering fundamentals and engineering calculations
xc2xb7 Experience in 3D CAD software package. Highly proficient in CREO tools (Concept development, drawings, modeling, assembly, etc.)
xc2xb7 Knowledgeable in Tolerance stack up, GD&T, DFMEA and DFMA
xc2xb7 Good understanding of plastic, sheet metal and casting domains
xc2xb7 Thermal/Structural FEA analysis would be added advantage
xc2xb7 Competent with the analysis and selection of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
xc2xb7 Knowledgeable in static structural, dynamic structural and thermal analysis techniques
xc2xb7 Work with cross-functional teams and hands-on experience on Electro-mechanical products
xc2xb7 Familiarity in structural and thermal management design
Education
A Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
4 to 6 years of experience in electromechanical & NPD
