Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented

Mechanical Design Intern

to join our team. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and optimising mechanical components and systems for the

defence forces

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (i.e, SolidWorks) Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts. Support the team in creating 2D/3D models and detailed engineering drawings. Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis and tolerance analysis, to ensure design integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality control, to ensure designs meet specifications. Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of designs. Document design processes, revisions, and technical data accurately. Assist in creating bill of materials (BOM) for projects. Provide support for ongoing projects and contribute to problem-solving activities. Parts selections, vendor follow up and requirements gathering Testing and validation.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering materials. Proficiency in CAD software ( SolidWorks). Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
