Work Mode - In Office Location - Sector 62, Noida Internship Tenure - 3 Months (1-3 Months) Apprenticeship Tenure - 3 Months (4-6 Months) Stipend (Internship + Apprenticeship) - 15k per month
As an intern at Grid OS, you'll help turn innovative hardware ideas into precise, manufacturable designs. Working closely with product and electronics teams, you'll design mechanical enclosures and components for next-gen IoT devices. This role offers hands-on experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and prototyping in a real-world product development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and model mechanical components and product enclosures using Autodesk Fusion 360.

Create high-quality renderings and visual presentations using Keyshot.

Translate rough sketches, product requirements, or physical objects into detailed and accurate 3D CAD models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during brainstorming sessions to generate and refine design ideas.

Work through design iterations with a strong sense of patience and commitment to quality.

Support prototyping and testing processes to validate fit, form, and function.

Apply knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and design principles to ensure real-world feasibility.

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree (UG/PG) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

Proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D modeling and design.

Hands-on experience using Keyshot or similar tools for design visualization.

Good understanding of mechanical design principles and fundamentals.

Ability to recreate real-life objects with high accuracy in CAD software.

Demonstrated experience building designs from scratch.

Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to iterate and trust the design process.

Good to Have:

Experience designing for electronic products, with a good understanding of basic electronic components.

This role may not be for you if:

You're doing this just to fulfill academic requirements or for a certificate.

You're not excited about working hands-on with hardware and electronics.

You aren't confident working independently or taking initiative.

You haven't explored Autodesk Fusion in depth or lack advanced proficiency.

You're not ready for an iterative, sometimes messy, but rewarding design process.
