Mechanical Design Engineer - Production & Maintenance Responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are looking for a

Mechanical Design Engineer (Fresher)

to support our

production and maintenance teams

. The role involves basic mechanical design work, assisting in equipment improvement, and ensuring smooth operation of machinery through proper documentation and coordination with shop-floor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating and modifying

mechanical drawings

using CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar) Support

production activities

by providing design inputs and technical clarifications Assist maintenance team in

equipment layouts, part drawings, and improvements

Prepare

BOMs (Bill of Materials)

and basic technical documentation Help in identifying

design improvements

to enhance machine efficiency and reliability Coordinate with

manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams

for implementation Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and engineering changes

Requirements / Qualifications

BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Basic knowledge of

manufacturing processes

(machining, fabrication, assembly) Familiarity with

CAD tools

(AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo - any one) Basic understanding of

maintenance practices and mechanical components

Willingness to learn and work on the shop floor Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
