Position Name:

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Objective:

Modelling and generating drawings for the plant and equipment related to Ferrous Process Plant. Completion of deliverables related to basic and detail engineering within the contractual scheduled time span.

:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical engineering with good understanding of Mechanical Equipment (Static, rotating and pressure vessel) / Plant arrangement Drawings is a must.

At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in Plant & Equipment arrangement modelling and drawing generation.

Proficiency working with AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor 3D platform is mandatory requirement for model creation and drawing generation along with PDM tool like VAULT.

At least for 3+ years in professional environment using network Server in Client platform.

Working experience in 3D plant layout model and generating Plan, Elevation and Section mandatory.

Understanding of ISO drawing sheet with standard scales, sectional, and blow-up views etc.

Conversant with different global standard DIN/ISO/ANSI including Indian Standard (IS).

Good understanding on basic and detail engineering, welding, and Geometric & Dimensional Tolerance (GD&T)

Experience with pressure vessel drawings preparation along with nozzle tables.

Good understanding of type and size of welding requirement for platework fabrication packages.

Experience of general piping and duct arrangement / routing will be added advantage.

Good communication skill (verbal + written) and able to work in Microsoft Teams Environment.

Basic knowledge on equipment's like Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP), Bag filter, Cyclone, Screen, Belt/ Screw Conveyor, feeders, Bin /silo, and other material handling equipment.

Basic Knowledge on various manufacturing processes like fabrication, machining and casting etc.

Good soft IT skill MS office, SAP, Project documentation software etc.

Experience in preparation of short specification/ Data sheet/Duty specification of the plant equipment is an added advantage.
