Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

2D and 3D mechanical drawings

using

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

. Design and draft

piping layouts

,

GA drawings

,

isometric drawings

, and

fabrication drawings

. Develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems as per project requirements. Interpret

P&ID diagrams

and coordinate piping design accordingly. Perform

design calculations

related to piping, supports, and mechanical components. Coordinate with project, production, and site teams for design clarifications and modifications. Ensure designs comply with

industry standards

codes

, and

client specifications

. Revise drawings based on review comments and site feedback. Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D)

and

SolidWorks (3D modeling & detailing)

. Good knowledge of

piping systems

, piping components, valves, fittings, and supports. Understanding of

P&ID

,

GA

, and

isometric drawings

. Basic knowledge of

manufacturing processes

and

fabrication drawings

. Familiarity with relevant

codes and standards

(ASME, ANSI, ISO - preferred). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification:

BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Experience:

Experience in

industrial projects

,

oil & gas

,

petrochemical

, or

process plants

is an advantage. Site exposure and coordination experience will be an added benefit.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
