Job Description

Position: Mechanical Design & Engineering (Energy Storage Focus)Location: South India Experience: 3-5 years in mechanical design for energy or power storage sectorsRole Objective: Lead the design, prototyping, and scale-up of mechanical systems for client's hydrogen and energy storage solutions, integrating German technology with Indian fabrication and deployment needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Lead mechanical design of hydrogen fuel cell components, pressure vessels, and integrated storage systems2. Work closely with global teams to localize designs per Indian manufacturing standards3. Perform FEA, thermal analysis, fatigue analysis, and pressure containment simulations4. Engineering design experience on HVAC and Clean room systems5. Engineering design experience on Compressed air, process cooling water, High side water generation (Chiller and Cooling towers)6. Engineering design experience on wastewater, DI water, waste gas treatment7. Indian vendors for above mentioned designs and pricing knowledge8. Design basis preparation, BOQ preparation, Design reports preparation, P&ID and PFD design, layouts preparation 9. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost control10.Drive innovation in compact storage solutions for industrial and utility-scale applications11.Engage with clients, EPC contractors, and certification bodies for design validationQualifications:

B.E./M.E. in Mechanical/Manufacturing EngineeringExpertise in CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), Ansys, and pressure vessel design codes (ASME, IS2825)

Experience with hydrogen storage, batteries, or compressed gas systems preferred

Hands-on exposure to design-to-prototype-to-production lifecycle

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
