Responsibilities / Requirements:

Hands on working knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD software Hands on experience in New Product Design & Development (NPI/NPD) of electro-mechanical products. Good knowledge in diecasting, plastics & sheet metal component design & development. Good knowledge on the Seal designs, IP ratings and rubber seal materials. Good knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis. Good knowledge on DFMEA & Design Validation & testing Hands of experience in ISO, IATF & Aerospace audit Having experience in sheet metal design & Enclosure will be added advantage. He/she shall have the strong basics of mechanical engineering with knowledge on hand calculations, knowledge on IP sealing design. Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function. Prepare test plan, record and evaluate testing data, modifying design as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards. Knowledge on the Engineering Change Notification process for design changes. Ensure design of components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards. Able to understand industry standards like ISO, IEC, UL, CE etc. and implement in the design & development. Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change. Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively. Meet the organization goals and targets and achieve by executing the plans meticulously.
