Job Description

A Mechanical Design Engineer develops and maintains designs for mechanical systems, using their knowledge of engineering principles, CAD software, and materials to create innovative solutions. They are responsible for creating models and drawings, writing specifications, providing technical guidance, and ensuring products meet safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Creating new products, revising existing ones, and developing mechanical systems. CAD Proficiency: Utilizing CAD software to create 3D models and technical drawings. Testing and Analysis: Conducting simulations, tests, and analyses to validate designs and identify potential issues. Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical engineering, and project management. Problem Solving: Identifying and solving design problems, and suggesting innovative solutions. Technical Documentation: Writing technical specifications, reports, and documentation. Compliance: Ensuring products meet regulatory standards and industry best practices. Communication: Presenting technical information, communicating with clients and manufacturing teams, and providing technical guidance. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo). Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including time management and organizational skills. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
