Design and develop mechanical components / products / machinery as per project requirements.
Create 2D & 3D models, assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and BOM using CAD software.
Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, and structural feasibility checks.
Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams for design validation and optimization.
Work on prototype development, testing, and design modifications based on feedback.
Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and cost parameters for efficient design.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and functional requirements.
Assist in documentation - design reports, manuals, project files.
