Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and products. This involves creating detailed drawings, models, and prototypes.
• CAD Software: Utilizing CAD software (like SolidWorks) to create 3D models and simulations.
• Testing and Validation: Performing tests on prototypes to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Working with project managers, manufacturing teams, and other engineers.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing design challenges and finding solutions.
• Compliance: Ensuring designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Documentation: Preparing technical specifications, reports, and documentation.
• Project Management: Managing projects, adhering to timelines, and overseeing the development process.
• Analysis and Optimization: Analyzing design performance and optimizing designs to meet specific needs.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks etc.,
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
