About the Role:

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a reputed

MNC

, for the position of

Mechanical Design Engineer

. This is a

full-time, client-based role

with a

5-day work week (Monday to Friday)

. Candidates must attend the interview at the client location, and upon selection, will work directly from the client site. The specific work location within

Chennai

will be finalized as per the client's requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop sheet metal components, casting components, assemblies, and weldment structures using SolidEdge
Create detailed 2D drawings and accurate 3D models in line with manufacturing standards
Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability
Revise and update existing designs based on project or client feedback
Maintain proper design documentation, revision control, and records
Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience with SolidEdge Software
Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
Good understanding of casting design principles (if applicable)
Proficiency in GD&T, tolerances, and material specifications
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
