Responsibilities

Designing - sheet metal, Weldment, Surface Modelling, Moulding. Generate detailed drawings for parts and assembly with suitable GD&T. Responsible for planning, Designing and developing new prototypes. Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects. Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for the projects. Analyse new components, materials and technologies to make better products with minimal cost. Review prototypes and perform tests and finalise product design to facilitate mass production Root cause analysis Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce cost Preparation, review and control of internal technical documents Coordinating with planning department, manufacturing department along with Quality department.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in NPD Sound knowledge in Solid works / AutoCAD Hands-on experience in drafting, detailing, modelling, surfacing and concept designing Specialising in all type of Metal & Plastics Specialised in all the fabrication technologies like cutting, forming, punching, stamping, shearing & welding Knowledge in material selection Knowledge in electromechanical system Cost Reduction in Product & Tooling DFM/DFS/DFA & DFMEA and Load test analysis Six Sigma and 5S VA / VE GD&T & Stack up analysis.
