Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, firmware engineers, and
manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical designs with electronic components and systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate design
concepts and make informed decisions.
Oversee prototype development and testing activities, ensuring adherence to design
specifications, performance requirements, and industry standards.
Develop and maintain design documentation, including engineering drawings, bill of materials
(BOM), and design validation reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in power electronics
and mechanical engineering, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support R&D activities
and secure necessary resources and expertise. **Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
7 to 10 years of experience in R&D, design, and development of power electronics products,
with a focus on the mechanical aspect.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials selection, and manufacturing
processes relevant to power electronics applications.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools for mechanical
analysis (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
Experience with thermal management techniques, such as heat sink design, thermal simulation,
and testing.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, drive innovation,
and achieve project milestones.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
cross-functional teams and external partners.
Proven track record of successfully delivering R&D projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to power electronics products
