We are hiring a
Design Engineer
with strong skills in
CAD and SolidWorks
and
1-2 years of hands-on experience
in mechanical design. The candidate will be responsible for drafting, preparing engineering drawings, and generating accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for our conveyor and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create
2D and 3D models
using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
Prepare
manufacturing, part, and assembly drawings
.
Generate accurate
Bill of Materials (BOM)
.
Work with production, purchase, and project teams to deliver design requirements.
Make design revisions based on customer feedback or technical requirements.
Ensure all drawings are aligned with company and engineering standards.
Support design improvement and R&D activities related to conveyors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1-2 years experience
in mechanical design/drafting.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD & SolidWorks
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing drawings.
Ability to take measurements, prepare layouts, and convert concepts into detailed drawings.
Added advantage:
Prior experience in
conveyor design
, material handling equipment, or machine design.
