:
Experience with PLM tools (like PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter) is beneficial.
Product Design & Development
Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
Create 3D models and 2D drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and annotations (GD&T).
Develop innovative design solutions based on customer requirements and technical feasibility.
2. Engineering Analysis
Conduct basic stress, strain, and thermal analysis to validate designs (using tools like ANSYS or manual calculations).
Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and material selection.
3. Prototype Development & Testing
Collaborate with prototyping teams or vendors to build physical models.
Support product testing (mechanical durability, thermal performance, etc.) and iterate based on test results.
Document test plans, results, and design changes.
4. Manufacturing Support
Ensure designs are feasible for machining, fabrication, or 3D printing.
Work with suppliers and production teams to ensure the design can be manufactured efficiently.
Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
5. Documentation & Standards Compliance
Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with engineering and industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
Maintain version control and design history files using PLM tools.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams--electrical, electronics, software, procurement, and marketing.
Participate in design reviews and provide inputs on product improvements.
Manage timelines and deliverables for assigned design tasks.
7. Continuous Improvement
Analyze existing products and suggest improvements in design, cost, or performance.
Keep up-to-date with new materials, CAD tools, and design trends.
Contribute to R&D and innovation initiatives.
