Design and develop various conveyor systems (belt, roller, chain, screw, etc.) and related components as per project and client requirements. R&D for new product development. Conduct feasibility studies, perform complex engineering calculations (e.g., load analysis, drive sizing, power transmission), and evaluate the viability of design concepts. Create detailed 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or Inventor. Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed technical specifications for procurement and manufacturing teams. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, manufacturing personnel, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration. Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions to improve the performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability of existing systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all design revisions, test results, and project records.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.

Experience:

[3+] years of proven experience in designing conveyor systems or material handling equipment.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Inventor, UG NX). Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, structural design, GD&T, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with industry-specific standards related to conveyor design, capacity, and safety.
