Mechanical Design Engineer -Paid Inter(M-Tech/MS Students Only)

Position: Mechanical Design Intern
Location: Bengaluru (On-site only)
Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Stipend: ?12,000 per month
Certification: Provided upon successful completion

About the Internship:

We are inviting applications from

M.Tech Mechanical Engineering students

for a hands-on internship focused on

mechanical design, robotics, and automation systems

. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to

design and product development

in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)

Location: Must be based in Bengaluru and available to work on-site Availability: Full-time commitment (Monday to Friday) for 6 months Academic Requirement: Minimum CGPA of 8.0+ Interview Mode: Only face-to-face interviews (no virtual interviews)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the

design and development of mechanical components

, assemblies, and robotic systems using

SolidWorks

or similar CAD tools. Create detailed

3D models, 2D technical drawings, and BOMs

for production. Collaborate with senior engineers to

optimize design for manufacturability (DFM)

and performance. Contribute to

product prototyping, testing, and refinement

. Document designs, change logs, and testing outcomes in a structured format. Participate in

design reviews

and implement technical feedback into design iterations. Support

manufacturing process understanding

, especially in machining, welding, 3D printing, or sheet metal operations.

Requirements:

Education

: Pursuing

M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

or relevant specialization (e.g., Robotics, CAD/CAM, Design Engineering)

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar tools (e.g., Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor).

Strong understanding of design principles, material selection, and basic engineering calculations.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining, welding, and sheet metal operations (preferred).

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.

Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions effectively.

Availability: Commitment to a full-time internship for 4-6 months, Monday to Friday.
