Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Design Engineer

with expertise in

New Product Development (NPD)

and hands-on experience in

Automation in Mechanical Design

. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

Sheet Metal Design

and

Fusion 360 or Creo

. Experience working on

automation projects

and a strong passion for innovative product development in

robotics and automation

is essential.

Purpose of the Job:

? Provide

technical expertise

for new and existing product development.

? Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

to understand and fulfill customer requirements.

? Lead the

design and development

of components, assemblies, and systems, with a focus on

sheet metal design and automation solutions

.

Roles and Responsibilities:

New Product Development (NPD):

Conceptualize, design, and develop new products, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Sheet Metal Design:

Develop precise and efficient designs for

sheet metal components

, considering

material selection, manufacturability, and cost optimization

.

Automation in Mechanical Design:

Work on

automation projects

, integrating

mechanisms, actuators, and motion systems

for product improvement.

CAD Expertise:

Create

3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings

using

Fusion 360 or Creo

.
Modify and enhance

existing designs

to address maintenance and non-standard requirements.
Validate designs through

prototyping and computational modeling

to ensure functionality and reliability.
Generate

BOMs

, manage

quotations

, and coordinate with

vendors and suppliers

for project requirements.
Optimize

manufacturing processes

, including

sheet metal operations, welding, and machining

.
Provide solutions for

quality issues

in

production, field performance, and customer feedback

.

Mandatory Skills:

Expertise in New Product Development (NPD) and Mechanical Automation

.

?

Sheet Metal Design:

Advanced knowledge of

design principles and manufacturing processes

.

?

Proficiency in CAD Tools:

Extensive experience with

Fusion 360 or Creo

for

3D modeling, assembly, and detailing

.

?

Experience in designing:

Mechanisms,

drive motion systems, chassis, and enclosures

.

?

Strong knowledge of:

Material selection, design fundamentals, and

engineering calculations

.

?

Familiarity with manufacturing processes

such as

welding, machining, and sheet metal operations

.

?

Proven experience in:

BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings, and adherence to drawing standards

.

?

Effective communication and documentation skills

.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with automation projects

, preferably in

food automation, industrial automation, or robotics

.

Knowledge of electromechanical components

and basic

electrical systems

(e.g., sensors, wiring, multimeter usage).

Familiarity with integration and troubleshooting

of

automated systems

.
