Job Description

Extensive experience (minimum 8 years) with project-based work
as a Mechanical Designer for the heavy process industry.
I. Knowledge and understanding of multidisciplinary engineering activities and tools, especially in
the field of design.
II. Making and designing technical (overview) 2D drawings and 3D models, in such a way that this
leads to a design that meets the established requirements and specifications of a project.
III. Parametric modeling in 3D in Inventor.
IV. Able to read process documents like P&ID', PFD, Steam table etc.
V. Planning, coordinating, supervising, and checking design activities within the mechanical field, or
making and designing technical (overview) drawings, documents and manuals in such a way that
this leads to a design that meets the established requirements and specifications of a project.
VI. Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing.
VII. Experience in coordinating an (Engineering) department and multidisciplinary project teams.
VIII. Preferably experience in the iron and steel industry.
IX. Experience with working independently under time pressure.
X. Able to survive within different working climates (cooperative, negotiation, fighting climate).
XI. Software skill:
AutoCAD
Autodesk Inventor,
Navis Works,
BIM 360, etc.
MS Office
Benefits
Diploma / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering (4 Years Course or equivalent) from a recognized
university.
8-12 years of industry experience.
