Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop innovative mechanical designs from concept to production stage. Create 3D CAD models and 2D detailed drawings using design software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, NX). Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection based on project requirements. Conduct feasibility studies and prototype evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement) to ensure design intent and manufacturability. Perform design validation through simulation, FEA, or testing. Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), design documentation, and revision control. Review and implement design changes based on testing results, feedback, and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Support production and field teams in troubleshooting design-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Master's preferred). 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design or product development (freshers can be considered for junior roles). Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar).
