Position - Design Engineer

Department - Mechanical Design

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical products and components Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD). Ensure designs meet

ergonomics, aerodynamics, safety, and regulatory standards

. Work on

surface modeling, Class A/ B/ C surfacing

and validate designs for manufacturability. Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for

material selection, feasibility, and cost optimization

. Conduct

tolerance stack-up analysis

and ensure designs meet quality standards. Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into functional product designs.

Required Skill -

Strong knowledge of

automotive design principles, ergonomics, and aerodynamics

. Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD). Familiarity with

automotive materials (plastics, metals, composites, fabrics, etc.)

. Strong problem-solving, visualization, and creative design skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification -

Bachelor's / Master's degree

in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial/Product Design. 2-5 years of experience in

product design and development (mechanical domain).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
