We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical design, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and detailing mechanical components and assemblies, contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Develop mechanical designs for new products and systems based on project specifications.

Modify and revise existing designs to improve functionality or to comply with changes in requirements.

Work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.

Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical documentation, and reports.

Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements.

Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setup.

Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory).

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and material selection.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, or automation-related projects.

Exposure to product development life cycle.

Familiarity with PDM systems is a plus.
