Mechanical Design Engineer

Location:

Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience:

Total: 4-5 years

Industry :-

2-3 years in packaging and manufacturing machinery industry in current company experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop

packaging machines

and

special purpose machines (SPM)

as per project requirements. Apply

automation knowledge

to optimize machine performance and efficiency. Create detailed

3D models, layouts, and drafting

using

SolidWorks

. Prepare

general assembly drawings

based on provided layouts and obtain approvals. Generate and maintain an accurate

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and update in

Google Sheets

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, and automation) to ensure timely project execution. Provide

design support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing stages

. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong expertise in

SolidWorks 3D modeling, drafting, and layouting

. Hands-on experience in

packaging machinery design

and

SPM development

. Basic to intermediate

automation knowledge

. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detailing skills. Ability to manage BOMs and technical documentation.

Working days:- Monday to Saturday (9 to 5.30)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
