: Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview: A professional with 2 years of experience in supporting the product design and development process through expertise in CAD modeling, prototype creation, and testing. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions and ensure project objectives are met efficiently.

Location: Pimpri-Chinchwad
Shift Timing: Day Shift
Work Mode: On-site
Salary: CTC 3 LPA (Depending upon the skill set & experience)

Responsibilities:
Create detailed

2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidEdge/UGNX)

based on design specifications and guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers to build and test prototypes using rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing, CNC machining) to evaluate design concepts and functionality.
Conduct basic tests and analyses (e.g., stress analysis, tolerance analysis) to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports, to communicate design intent and facilitate review and iteration.
Support research efforts to explore new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes that could enhance product design and performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing engineers to integrate design inputs and ensure design feasibility.
Assist in identifying and resolving design issues or challenges encountered during prototyping and testing phases, under supervision.
Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and design reviews to enhance technical skills and understanding of product design principles.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software is preferred.
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles,

GD&T ,

materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
