Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in Measuring Fixture & Mechanical Automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing mechanical systems, fixtures, and automation solutions. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical fixtures, automation systems, and components for measuring and inspection applications.

2. Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs using software such as AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or similar.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met and implemented correctly.

4. Develop and implement design standards, best practices, and documentation procedures.

5. Analyze and optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during testing and production phases.

7. Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, DME,ITI or related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in measuring fixture and mechanical automation projects.

3. Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Good communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with automation systems, such as pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems.

2. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ) principles.

3. Familiarity with simulation tools (FEA, CFD, etc.).

4. Experience with manufacturing processes and tolerancing .
