- Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Experience: 2-3 Years

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Location: Coimbatore - 641105.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D & 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Develop manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure smooth execution of designs Support R&D activities, including product development, improvement, and optimization Assist in prototype development and testing Provide technical support to production and resolve design-related issues Basic understanding and coordination related to CNC programming and machining processes Plan tasks, meet project deadlines, and ensure effective time management Lead and coordinate with shop-floor teams for design implementation Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

Required Skills:

Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks Proficiency in AutoCAD Good understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes Medium-level knowledge of CNC programming Basic knowledge of materials, tolerances, and fabrication methods Good team management and coordination skills Strong problem-solving and R&D mindset Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
