Job Description

1.Mechanical Design & CAD :-

3D modelling of mechanical parts and assemblies Concept-to-detail design development for functional products Design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) Technical Documentation & Drawings Creation of detailed 2D technical drawings following standard engineering practices Knowledge of drawing standards, views, sections, tolerances, and annotations Understanding and application-level knowledge of GD&T in mechanical drawings Preparation of fabrication-ready drawings for CNC, sheet metal, and laser cutting

2.Manufacturing & Production Knowledge :-

Practical knowledge of 3D printing (PLA, ABS) including part orientation, infill, supports, and print optimization Understanding of different manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly Knowledge of materials used in production, including aluminium alloys, mild steel, plastics, and fasteners Experience in coordinating with fabrication teams and vendors for manufacturability validation

3.Mechanical Systems & Mechanisms :-

Knowledge of mechanical mechanisms such as linear motion systems, worm gear mechanisms, rack-and-pinion concepts, clamps, brackets, and structural frames Experience in designing mounts, holders, clamps, and structural supports for motors, actuators, batteries, sensors, and electronics

4.Simulation & Analysis (Basic Level) :-

Basic understanding of mechanical simulation concepts Exposure to SolidWorks Simulation for preliminary checks and validation Awareness of static load behavior and design safety considerations

5.Software Proficiency :-

SolidWorks - primary design tool (professional working level) CATIA - prior industry experience UG NX - working knowledge Autodesk Inventor - used for reverse engineering tasks Shapr3D - rapid concept and form development

6. Experience :-

Minimum 4 years of experience

Pay: ?41,666.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
