Translate creative ideas and sketches into detailed 3D models using Fusion 360 (required) and AutoCAD.
Design custom mechanical components, structural frames, and motion elements.
Ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) practices are applied.
Prototyping & Fabrication Support:
Create technical drawings for CNC, laser cutting, and sheet metal processes.
Oversee mechanical prototyping and hands-on support in assembly, testing, and refinement.
Work with vendors and internal fabrication teams to bring prototypes to life.
Integration & Motion:
Design mounts and enclosures for sensors, actuators, motors, lights, and electronics.
Build kinematic mechanisms or linkages for movement-based displays.
Ensure precise alignment, tolerance, and strength across moving parts.
Documentation & Standardization:
Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, and QC checklists.
Standardize parts and connections for modularity and cost-efficiency.
Keep documentation clear and updated for production teams and future projects.
