Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using

CATIA V5/V6

. Create detailed

3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs

in compliance with design standards and GD&T practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement) to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Perform

design reviews, tolerance analysis, and design-for-manufacturability (DFM)

assessments. Manage design changes, revisions, and documentation within PLM/PDM systems. Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities. Identify opportunities for

design optimization, weight reduction, and performance improvement

. Ensure compliance with relevant

industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or related engineering field.

2-5+ years

of experience in product or mechanical design (depending on level). Proficiency in

CATIA V5 or V6

(Part Design, Assembly Design, Surface Modeling, Drafting). Solid understanding of

GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and material properties

. Familiarity with

PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Teamcenter)

. Experience with

manufacturing processes

(machining, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
