Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Support/Lead product design and engineering efforts for assigned NPD/ LCE projects. Develop plastic products and processes, focusing on material selection, product design using CADsoftware, moldability, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet functional, aesthetic, andquality standards from concept to production Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing material performance, reducingcosts, and minimizing environmental impact. Ensure project milestones and deliverables with agreed Quality, Delivery, cost for all phases ofproject To support i2V workshops, brainstorm ideas, and create alternative designs to optimize productperformance. Conduct material selection and testing to identify optimal polymers for specific applications,considering factors such as mechanical properties, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. Stay updated with the latest advancements in plastic materials and manufacturing technologies.

Mandatory Skills

Proficient in Creo Design tool with plastic design- Part creation, Drafting, Assemblies and designtables. Develop and implement best practices for plastic manufacturing processes, including injectionmolding, extrusion, and blow molding. Design plastics or injection-mold fabrication processes. Hands on experience in concept development and Continuous Design Improvement. Engineering documentation includes bills of material, test specifications, lab reports. Experience in understanding engineering workflow & PLM system (Windchill). Good Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack up. Good Knowledge in manufacturing processes (plastic design, manufacturing) and design codes DFMEA and design validation plan. Responsible for new product technical feasibility study, Design review, DVP etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in design and development (Especially for Plastic products,pumps, high pressure components Proactive, self-motivating with ability to develop your own priorities Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to travel both domestic and international as and when requiredo Flexible, adaptable, and eager to deliver timely results despite unanticipated challenges

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
