We are hiring for

Mechanical Design Engineer

Role.

Location - Bangalore (Onsite)

Experience - 3 to 8 Years

Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collect, validate, and manage drawings, documents, and procedures. Handle the issuance of drawings and documentation from suppliers, including follow-ups related to Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Support supplier development activities and respond to related requests. Use Onto-provided tools such as PLM (Windchill), CAD (SolidWorks), and ERP (Oracle) software to perform assigned tasks. BOM generation, which includes the column to entry material costing and labor costing estimate. Generate new Kit part number for various sub modules for tools such as Echo, Impulse, Iris, Atlas and so on. DCN/ECO/ECN/ECR: Support change control documentation. Compare and Review the BOM attributes against the Mfg. vendor for qty, revision and part number variations. Update electrical and mechanical CAD drawings. Review and update the necessary documents as per the ONTO Specificationrequirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field, with a preference for machinery-related experience. Software Skills: Proficiency in any 3-D modelling software is mandatory. Preferred software includes SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and NX. Industry Background: Experience in automation and special purpose machinery (SPM) is required.
