Job Description

2 Position : Junior & Senior Design Engineer

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

Perform design activities for the various projects


Utilize 3D CAD Design Software to perform mechanical design of electro-mechanical systems with

optimization of space utilization, structural performance, thermal performance, cost effectiveness and

reliability


Performs empirical calculations via pen/paper and spread sheets as per design requirements


Interface with other engineering disciplines as required


Takes feedback from the manufacturing & integration teams as well as vendors and incorporates necessary

changes in the design while maintaining the design intent


Chalks out a realization plan for the product in consultation with the manufacturing team and prepares

detailed manufacturing & integration drawings for various systems


Trains the junior design engineers in various technical & soft skills required for the job

Functional and Technical Competencies


Sound knowledge of the fundamental design principles


Basic understanding of fundamental FEA principles


Ability to bring both creative and practical solutions to engineering design problems


Ability to draft & interpret engineering drawings


Ability to understand the integration/assembly requirements in the installation manuals of bought out

components and incorporate the required features & tolerances in the manufacturing drawings


Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances and tolerance stack up in assemblies


Up to date knowledge on various manufacturing processes will be an advantage


Proficient in a 3D CAD modelling software (Creo will be an advantage)


Proficient in office tools like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
