About the Internship:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing innovative products in the robotics and automation industry. The intern will work closely with our design team to create and optimize designs using SolidWorks or similar tools.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)
Location: Must be based in Bengaluru and available to work on-site
Availability: Full-time commitment (Monday to Friday) for 6 months
Academic Requirement: Minimum CGPA of 8.0+
Interview Mode: Only face-to-face interviews (no virtual interviews)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks or similar tools.
Follow instructions and collaborate with senior engineers to develop efficient and accurate designs.
Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and assembly instructions.
Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Support the team in modifying and improving existing designs.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to enhance designs.
Maintain proper documentation for all design projects.
Requirements:
Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar tools (e.g., Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor).
Strong understanding of design principles, material selection, and basic engineering calculations.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining, welding, and sheet metal operations (preferred).
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions effectively.
Availability: Commitment to a full-time internship for 4-6 months, Monday to Friday.
