Good Understanding of Engineering Drawing,GD&T & Stack-up Analysis

In-depth working knowledge of Aero/Gas turbine engine system,assembly,sub-assembly & parts

Knowledge of Assembly & Dis-assembly of Aero Engine parts

o o Knowledge of Mechanical Calculations like Stress/ Kt, Fatigue, Fracture Mechanics, Creep, Overspeed, Buckling & Bolted joints

Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques

Knowledge of various types of repairs which can be applied to components

In-depth knowledge of various failure/ deterioration mechanisms leading to component/ system failures

Stack-up

Finalise the envelope for RFQ and Raw Material Release

Specification selection

Establish freebody diagram

buckling calculation-Bruhn method

Bolt Joint Analysis

Geometry Check

Finding alpha difference between material and its selection

Stress lcf, creep, hcf (also for the flowpath parts), welds (stress & life to produce)

Hand Calcs (Stress, LCF, Creep)

Dolly Design
