Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Mechanical Design Engineer

to handle

implant design documentation, manufacturing drawings, job cards, and regulatory technical documentation

. The role requires strong knowledge of

technical drawings, manufacturing processes, and medical device documentation

.

Key Responsibilities

Create

detailed 2D manufacturing drawings

(GD&T, tolerances, surface finish, material specs) Prepare and maintain

job cards, route cards, and process flow documents

Support

design transfer from R&D to production

Create and update

BOMs (Bill of Materials)

and part numbering systems Draft and maintain

license & regulatory documents

(CDSCO, ISO 13485, technical files, DHF support) Support

incoming, in-process, and final inspection documentation

Coordinate with

production, QA/QC, and regulatory teams

Ensure drawings and documents comply with

ISO 13485, GMP, and medical device regulations

Maintain

revision control and document change records

Assist in

process validation and risk management documentation

Support development of

custom and patient-specific implants

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

3+ years experience

in mechanical design (medical devices preferred) Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD / SolidWorks (mandatory)

Excellent understanding of

technical drawings & GD&T

Experience creating

job cards, BOMs, and manufacturing documents

Basic understanding of

ISO 13485 & medical device regulations

Good documentation and technical writing skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Preferred Experience

Experience in

orthopedic implants / medical devices

Familiarity with

CNC machining processes

Exposure to

CDSCO, CE, FDA documentation

Experience working with

QMS systems
