Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Mechanical Design Engineer

with experience in the transformer manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design, development, and optimization of power and distribution transformers. You will work closely with electrical engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure mechanical integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability of transformer components.

Exprience : Min of 3plus years in the transformers design

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical structures and components for power and distribution transformers (core, tank, clamping arrangements, radiators, conservators, bushings, etc.) Perform thermal, structural, and mechanical analysis using CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS) Collaborate with electrical design teams to ensure mechanical-electrical design integration Create detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing Ensure designs meet industry standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, etc.) and customer specifications Support manufacturing during transformer assembly and testing Analyze and resolve design and production issues

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
