Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in sheet metal tank design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sheet metal tanks used in various industrial applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop sheet metal tanks based on project requirements and client specifications. Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing documentation. Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate design concepts and ensure manufacturability. Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to select appropriate materials and processes. Perform design calculations and simulations to optimize structural integrity and performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during prototype and production phases. Resolve engineering issues and implement design improvements based on feedback and testing results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience (0-2) in mechanical design, specifically in sheet metal tank design. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for 3D modeling and drafting. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Familiarity with design analysis tools (FEA, CFD) is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
