Role Overview

We are looking for a

Mechanical Design Engineer

with strong experience in

sheet metal design

who will be responsible for

Panel Designing (Mechanical)

and

SPM Part Designing

. The role requires proficiency in

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

, with the ability to convert design concepts into manufacturable products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

mechanical layouts for electrical panels, enclosures, and sheet metal components

. Create 2D drawings and 3D models for

SPM parts, sheet metal assemblies, and fabrication details

. Prepare

detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and documentation

. Ensure

design accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety & industry standards

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical/Automation) for panel integration. Support production during

fabrication, assembly, and installation

. Apply

GD&T and DFM principles

to improve manufacturability and reduce rework.

Requirements

BE / B.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering

. Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

(Sheet Metal Module a must). Hands-on experience in

panel mechanical design and sheet metal part design

. Knowledge of

manufacturing processes, laser cutting, bending, and welding

. Good understanding of

GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and material selection

. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
