Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control software for boilers, turbines, and gas engines, including creating algorithms for process control, safety interlocks, and performance optimization using tools like GX-Works for MELSEC PLCs.
• Oversee the manufacturing process of control systems, ensuring hardware and software integration meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform verification testing in simulated environments to validate software functionality, identify bugs, and confirm compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead on-site commissioning activities, including system installation, startup, tuning, and handover to operations teams, often under tight deadlines and in remote locations.
• Provide comprehensive after-sales service, such as remote diagnostics, on-site repairs, software updates, and training for end-users to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address urgent issues during business trips, ensuring minimal disruption to power plant operations even on weekends or holidays.

Work Experience
Required Experience:

• This role involves frequent urgent business trips. On-site work may occur on weekends and holidays.

Must-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of instrumentation and control.
• Experience programming DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems (MELSEC: GX-Works; SCADA: PA?FA-Panel).
• Ability to read logic (analog control/digital control).
• Communication skills.
• General Windows skills (Word, Excel, Visio).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of plant control systems.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Experience in PLC (MELSEC) engineering/on-site commissioning.
• Experience in SCADA engineering/on-site commissioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
