oles and Responsibilities Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators. Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes. Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties testing and customer demonstration Perform engineering calculations to support design work Designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods. Thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components. Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. Completes projects by training and guiding technicians. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma, Bachelor/ Master of Engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience Proficient in 3D CAD programs such as NX, Solid works, or Autodesk Inventor Good track record in: Ultra-High Precision machine design, high Speed Pick and Place mechanism design Understanding of sheet metal bending and design. (K factor and Sheet metal tolerances) Understanding on pneumatics (e.g., Cylinders, linear guides) Structural, kinematics and dynamic analysis and FEA simulation Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis (e.g., stack up error) Engineering material selection such as metals, engineering plastics, ceramic and others. Design troubleshooting, application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE Knowledge in semiconductor front end and back-end process Working knowledge of ISO standards, procedures and manufacturing practices Flexible to work overtime and extend hours when needed.
