ROLE: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support the creation, validation, and management of engineering part data and drawings across various part families. The role involves working closely with CAD models, engineering drawings, and PLM systems such as Teamcenter to ensure data integrity, standardization, and accuracy across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with drafting standards, BOMs (EBOM/MBOM), and basic GD&T, along with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and part classification.
Key Responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge on Drawings and drafting standards.
• Manual Validation on Part dwg's.
• Capable of finding critical Attributes Extraction for different Part Families
• Must have basic Excel Skills with V-lookup, Pivoting, exposure on PLM software (Team center) and CAD Software's such as UG, Auto CAD, Inventor etc.
• Good knowledge on Manufacturing methods.
• Basic GD&T knowledge.
• Part life cycle stages.
• Classifying parts using a hierarchical taxonomy
• Data population and BKM's for Part families.
• Clear and consistent communication with stakeholders
• Proficient with different BOMs (EBOM, MBOM, Sales & Service BOM)

Qualifications:
5 - 8 years of experience required
