Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
Qualification: B.E / B Tech.
Experience: UG-NX 12 especially experienced in design and modeling for rotary systems / machines.
Experience in working with Teamcenter environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Extensive experience in 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting.
Experience in Scan processing - using desired software.
Must have good knowledge on stages of manufacturing process.
Good Knowledge on fabrication principles - welding standards.
Good understanding of drawing standards and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
Execute projects and validate the design criteria as per the defined quality, OTD & Schedule.
Review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications/requirements to ensure timely deliverables with workable and manufacturable data.
Work independently with minimum supervision and guidance.
Able to communicate/report/document technical information with project team and the customer.
Must be good in communication skills.
Very good analytical skills.
To be pro-active and self driven.
