Create and modify 2D/3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and other CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or Inventor if applicable). Design sheet metal parts and assemblies including enclosures, panels, brackets, racks, and related hardware. Develop and release detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions. Apply knowledge of bending, laser cutting, punching, welding, and powder coating processes in design. Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, tolerances, and material specifications. Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of designs. Conduct design reviews, implement feedback, and make necessary revisions to meet project goals. Support prototype development and provide engineering assistance during fabrication and assembly. Maintain design documentation and revision control using PLM/PDM systems.

Skills & Knowledge:

Design software

Experience with ERP software (SAP)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?3,50,000.00 per year

Requirements:

3+ years in mechanical design engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and sheet metal. Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials. Experience with FEA and simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with industry standards.
