Job description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design. The ideal candidate should be strong in 2D drafting and comfortable working with basic to intermediate 3D modeling tools. This role involves design, detailing, documentation, and coordination with fabrication and assembly teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

B.E or Diploma in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software. (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks & other related software) Strong proficiency in 2D drafting (AutoCAD or equivalent) Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Autodesk Inventor - preferred) Basic knowledge of

GD&T

and engineering standards Understanding of

mechanical assembly and fabrication processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare, modify, and review 2D engineering drawings Assist in 3D modeling and assembly designs, where required Design and develop mechanical components and systems Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure design feasibility Support prototype testing and design validation Create and maintain design documentation, revisions, and change records Assist in material selection and manufacturing process planning Ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements

Preferred Skills

:

Experience in design, fabrication, assembly, and documentation Working knowledge of MS Excel Basic understanding of project timelines and coordination

Required tools:

AutoCAD Solidworks / solid edge / fusion 360
