We are looking for an experienced and highly competent
Mechanical Construction Manager
to oversee the mechanical construction activities of an
ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) plant
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of mechanical works on-site, ensuring project timelines, quality, safety, and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and supervise
the mechanical construction activities of ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) systems at project sites.
Review and interpret
engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
to ensure proper execution of mechanical works.
Coordinate with
design teams, project engineers, contractors, and vendors
to ensure smooth project execution and resolve technical issues.
Monitor
progress, productivity, and quality
of mechanical installation, ensuring compliance with project standards and timelines.
Ensure all
health, safety, and environmental (HSE)
regulations are strictly followed during construction activities.
Supervise the
erection, alignment, and installation
of mechanical components such as hoppers, casing, discharge electrodes, collecting plates, rapping systems, and ductwork.
Handle
material planning, site logistics, and manpower management
for efficient site operations.
Conduct
daily/weekly site inspections
, generate progress reports, and escalate critical issues to higher management when needed.
Liaise with the client, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment of construction activities with project goals.
Ensure
testing and commissioning readiness
of mechanical systems within the specified schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering
.
8-12 years
of experience in mechanical construction, with
specific experience in ESP plant erection
and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of
ESP systems
, heavy structural/mechanical installation, and related equipment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting
engineering drawings and P&IDs
.
Familiar with construction
codes, quality standards
, and
HSE regulations
.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?70,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
